Glass DSV building climbs upwards
According to the schedule, an office building for the Danish DSV corporation is being built by a consortium of general contractors FineTech Construction and Fundamental Group. The investment is being developed in Warsaw’s Mokotów at the corner of Marynarska and Taśmowa Streets.
The ultra-modern class A glass building, which will be the new headquarters of DSV International Shared Services, is to meet the requirements of sustainable construction – it is going to apply for a BREEAM Very Good certificate. Warsaw’s DSV office building is a 6-storey building built by FineTech Construction – a general contracting company with many years of experience in the construction industry and Fundamental Group – one of the leading Warsaw construction companies in Poland with an established position on the market. The investment will provide comfortable working conditions for more than 1500 people, who will be employed by the fast-growing company DSV ISSC already in the first half of next year.
Currently, reinforced concrete works on the 4th above-ground storey are being carried out. For the current week it is also planned to completely close the ceiling over the underground garage, which will allow the construction to enter a new phase, i.e. start the installation and finishing works in the underground garage – Marek Ziach, Chief Execution Officer of Fundamental Group, comments. Despite the unfavourable weather conditions, the work is being carried out at a pace that guarantees that the work schedule is adhered to.
The building was designed by the world-famous Danish office PLH Arkitekter A/S. The construction design with an area of approx. 33,000 square meters was developed by APA Wojciechowski studio.
